We had a wonderful time. Our room was clean and did not have the over powering smell of cleaner. The rooms were not carpeted, which was great. We loved the dog park and the staff were very hospitable. We both loved their choices of beer and they were delicious and their food was also very delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming and very comfortable. Thank you again for having us. You will see us again.
Celebrating a short birthday overnight & the Grist Iron campus did not disappoint! Spacious rooms, great fire pit area, & close to the brewery, what's not to like? We'll be back, spend more time, and use the Lakeside Trolley with Grist Iron as our anchor. Thanks GIB team!
Went to the Finger Lakes for a quick getaway. Stayed at The Lodge at Grist Iron Brewing Company. Great facility with awesome service. Clean modern rooms with a complimentary beer upon check in. Breakfast is included with your stay. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone traveling in the Watkins Glen area.
What a fantastic find on the Finger Lakes for our trip. It was the perfect place to stay—right on the wine trail and 10 min from downtown Watkins Glen. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are cozy, and the brewery being right across the parking lot was so much fun. Plus the food and beer are awesome, and the lodge breakfast was also wonderful. Everything is clean and cared for and the view is amazing. We will definitely be back and bringing all our friends!!
Staff was friendly and helpful, the complimentary breakfast had a more than adequate amount of options. The room was perfect and had an amazing view of the lake. The brewery on the property had live music one of the nights we were there and the pizza we ordered was very good. My wife and I definitely plan on staying here again in the future.
We stayed during the Fire and Ice Celebration in Watkins Glen and thoroughly enjoyed the Finger Lakes!! The Lodge is beautiful and the restaurant and bar have great food and beverages! The room was spacious and clean and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We highly recommend and looking forward to our next stay!
We would definitely book here again. The room is perfect, especially the bathtub!! When we walked into the room, the first thing we noticed was the amazing view. The brewery staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time and don't want to leave.
My wife and I stayed on a weekday winters night while touring the Seneca Lake establishments. Everything was very nice and clean (and warm). The 2nd floor view from the balcony was great overlooking the lake. That evening, we ate at the brewery just a short walk across the parking lot from the lodge. The continental breakfast (and the dining room) the next morning was also very good. This looks like it would be a great place to stay in the summer. We will definitely return here if available the next time we're in the area.
